Also, with reports of the G2 being more like the iPhone I’m sure Apple is looking at market share and freaking out right about now. Google is a big company to compete against and this is going to be a tough road for the iPhone.

If you are like me you’ve transitioned from IPod devices to your good old mobile phone to enjoy your music. With memory cards in the 8 gig range there is no need to carry two devices with you anymore. The only drawback I’ve seen with using your mobile phone is the quality of headset that traditionally come with the phone. Some people use bluetooth but a lot of phones don’t support true stereo bluetooth when listening to music. Also, if you are using bluetooth you risk running out of battery power in the middle of the face melting solo that’s been on constant repeat for a month.

I thought I was stuck with the same low quality headsets until I came across Shure and their new stereo headset. It seems to be a viable alternative to the standard junk headsets that come in the box. I plan on ordering a pair to give a try sometime after Christmas…that is, unless I get a pair on Christmas!
