AKG and Quincy Jones team up for headphone line

Now, this is quite a bit better than Beats by Dr. Dre, Diddybeats, and the Lady Gaga Heart Beats (still love you Lady Gaga!). AKG has announced a line of headphones endorsed by a true legend, Quincy Jones, known for working with Frank Sinatra on song arrangements in the 60s, but his true claim to fame: he was producer of Michael Jackson’s three most well-known albums: Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad. Overall, the man has 79 Grammy nominations, and 27 wins, so he definitely has an ear for sound. Plus, he’s teaming up with AKG, a fantastic headphone company that has far more credentials than Monster and is very highly respected by audiophiles. The line starts at $150 for iPhone compatible earbuds and ranges all the way up to $480 for the top of the line model. I can’t wait to hear how these sound, but my wallet might kill me if I buy them.
