That robot from Rocky IV? I remember seeing that movie as a kid and wondering how feasible the robot companion was during the time. Try as I might, though, I never saw anyone on my block with their own robot. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, Rocky’s brother-in-law Paulie received a robot for his birthday.
Well, it seems that the robot has since left Paulie and gotten a job as a professional greeter, not at Wal-Mart, but at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show. So, does this mean robot companions will be in most homes by 2020?
