Who is going to buy Microsoft 7?

I currently do not own a PC but I’m curious as to how many people will jump to buy MS7 after the last OS that MS put out. It seems to me that many people would rather wait to see what Google puts out next year and just stick with their under performing Vistas for now. I could be wrong but then again, I’m a Mac guy!
I just pre ordered home premium for my laptop. I have played around with the rc a little and it seems like it has a lot of performance upgrades from vista. I haven’t had many problems with vista, but Google’s os isnt an option for people like me who use it for gaming and depend on windows applications. The only complaint I hear about it is the price. Upgrading from leopard to snow leopard is $30 bur the cheapest upgrade to 7 is $120!
