As if spam wasn’t bad enough, it actually causes environmental pollution! Seriously? According to scientists, spam accounts for 17m tons of CO2 in our atmosphere! Where’s Al Gore when you need him? Maybe now we can actually figure out a way to do something about this stuff?
On a side note, I often wonder how they can come up with an accurate number? In this case, is it measured by how much is simply sent or do they try to estimate how much is sent and actually opened? I would imagine trying to place a hard number to an issue like this would be virtually impossible.
