Have you ever wanted your straw to form a mobius strip or have you ever wanted to drink from several different glasses at once? Now you can. I found one of the coolest products online when I stumbled across the DIY bendable straw. Be trendy for once in your life. Everything with DIY is cool and trendy. Put your mechanical skills to work with this and quench your thirst when you are finished. This is so cool! I can’t wait until mine arrives in the mail. diy_strawz

Those energy drinks are very over rated and really don’t supply the kind of energy needed for a real gamer to sustain what is needed for a full night of GOW. Get ready to go back to 8th grade when mom would keep you loaded up on sugar to keep you going. Regulate people online while munching on life sustaining caffeinated cookies. if the sugar doesn’t get you the caffeine will! This is a sure fire way to keep that jittery edge nice and sharp while you attempt to take over the virtual world!

First the Wi-Fi finder t-shirt andac0b_electronic_drum_kit_shirt now something for when the work day is done! Ever thought being a drummer would be interesting? Well, now you can be one and never have to lug around a kit. The new drummer’s t-shirt only takes a few AAA batteries and a little talent and you’ll be the talk of the town. Seriously, what will they think of next!

Well actually, if playing the drums doesn’t sound like your thing then maybe walking around with your own personal sound track might be your deal. Deep Space 9 maybe? I can’t think of much that would be cooler than running around the office with the sound track to Star wars playing.

We all remember how many of us were anticipating the BlackBerry storm and many were claiming it to be the “iPhone Killer”.  I highly doubted it would be an iPhone killer but I thought it would muster some serious competition especially in the CDMA arena.  Well apparently its been mustering alright, but more so mustering complaints.  Regardless, mistakes are not the end of the road for a relatively successful company like RIM, hopefully they learn, dust off, and move on.

It’s been 34 years and now Microsoft is laying off employees for the first time. it’s bee a great run but with the economy, Linux and Apple it’s been a tough go over the last few months and apparently no company no matter its size is immune to the ills of the economy.

Microsoft executives are using the standby excuses like credit availability and lower consumer spending. Now, I don’t know about everyone else but when I was in the stores this past holiday season I took notice to computer departments that looked empty but when I ventured into the Apple store I couldn’t find a sales rep that wasn’t helping three other people.

It’s possible in Microsoft’s case that Vista is their current downfall and my guess is, that downfall isn’t going away anytime soon.

2eleven-foosball-2Just take one look at this foosball table and you might just agree to put down your gaming controller for a few minutes to play. Not only does it look like it came right out of the future, it has several innovative features like video screens, automatic ball lift and even cup holders. The company that makes it doesn’t have site in American so I’m not positive on how much it costs but this is one cool game and it would look at home in any gamer’s room!

Found a really interesting article on Windows 7 vs. Mac OS X from the apple insider.  Interesting insight whether bias or not.

san-franciscoGoing on a short little trip and gotta pack light so I’m grabbing my Canon camera, money clip wallet and a few clothing items and heading to San Fransisco for the weekend.  Obviously with San Fran being one of the most wired cities, I’ll be posting as if I never left but just in case of a glitch, I’ll be back by Monday.  Have a great weekend!

This post won’t be as dramatic as my previous post but it is about the fact that Microsoft is on the fast track to dumping Windows Vista. Apparently Vista will go to the same early grave as Windows Millennium. What’s not certain yet is which OS will   in history as the worst. Personally, I feel that Millennium was far worse than Vista. For the most part, Vista was table on new machines. Millennium wasn’t stable on anything!

Fortunately for all of those people who invested in new computers or even new component upgrades you’ll soon be able to ditch that new stuff for Windows 7. Currently Windows 7 is available to anyone adventurous enough or rich enough to install the OS and replace it once it fails. Sounds like the death nail to Vista to me!
